To ensure this, we would like to explain the terminology used in advance.
In this privacy policy, we use, among others, the following terms:

a) personal data

Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the "data subject"). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more specific factors expressing the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.

b) data subject

A data subject is any identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data is processed by the data controller.

d) restriction of processing

Restriction of processing is the marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting their future processing.

e) profiling

Profiling is any form of automated processing of personal data that involves using those personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyze or predict aspects concerning job performance, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location, or movements of that natural person.

f) Pseudonymization

Pseudonymization is the processing of personal data in a way that the personal data cannot be attributed to a specific data subject without additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures to ensure that the personal data is not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.

g) Controller or data controller

Controller or data controller is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law.

k) Consent

Consent is any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which they, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signify agreement to the processing of personal data concerning them.

Cookies
"Cookies" refer to small files that are stored on users' computers. These cookies can contain various information. The primary purpose of a cookie is to store information about a user (or the device on which the cookie is stored) during or after their visit within an online offering. Temporary cookies, also known as "session cookies" or "transient cookies," are cookies that are deleted after a user leaves an online offering and closes their browser. Such a cookie may, for example, store the contents of a shopping cart in an online store or a login status. "Permanent" or "persistent" cookies are those that remain stored even after the browser is closed. For instance, the login status can be saved if users revisit the site after several days. In such a cookie, user interests may also be stored for audience measurement or marketing purposes. "Third-party cookies" refer to cookies offered by providers other than the entity operating the online offering (otherwise, if they are only the entity's cookies, they are called "first-party cookies"). We may use both temporary and permanent cookies. If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer, they are requested to deactivate the corresponding option in their browser's system settings. Stored cookies can be deleted in the system settings of the browser. The exclusion of cookies may lead to functional restrictions. We do not use cookies for advertising or direct marketing purposes.

Storage of access, FTP, error, and mail logs
At our Internet service provider, the access logs of the web servers are recorded, documenting which page views occurred at what time. They include the following data: IP address, directory protection user, date, time, accessed pages, protocols, status code, browser, operating system, data volume, referer, user agent, and accessed hostname. The IP addresses are anonymized by removing the last three digits, i.e., 127.0.0.1 becomes 127.0.0.*. IPv6 addresses are also anonymized. The anonymized IP addresses are retained for 60 days. Information about the directory protection user is anonymized after one day.
